Olli Wynyard Gonfond is a proud Dhurug man, born and raised on Biripi Country. His work centres on systems change, governance, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership, authority, and decision-making within complex institutions. He is particularly focused on organisational and structural reform that redistributes power and embeds accountability.
Olli is passionate about creative practice as a right of cultural expression, truth-telling, and collective imagination. He’s drawn to Aboriginal-led spaces that make room for new voices, and to storytelling as a way of shaping culture and creating change.
Alongside his board role at Blak & Bright, Olli works in senior leadership at Ahpra, supporting large-scale cultural safety and anti-racism work across the national health sector. He serves on multiple boards and committees across the arts, screen, and community sectors, and brings a strong interest in how policy, storytelling, and culture intersect to shape futures of justice.
