Cienan Muir is a Yorta Yorta, Ngarrindjeri & Taungurung man, living and working on Wurundjeri Country. Cienan is a small business owner (Indiginerd) and Australian director of Indigenous Comic Con, which he hosted in 2019.

He has been a member of the Yirramboi advisory committee, Melbourne International Games Week working group & is a current director of two Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. He has been a guest lecturer of an RMIT architecture studio on Indigenous Futurism, co-curator of ACMI’s First Nations Film Club and member of a research steering committee for Contemporary Australian Comics.

Cienan has been part of video game narrative teams, hosted panel talks on Indigenous representation, moderated others and been able to deliver youth workshops for his community on Yorta Yorta country.
